I've been kind of excited for N, because Nailtini is one of my absolute favorite nail polish brands. Not only is the name just amazing, but they did a collab with Janie Bryant to do a Mad Men collection, and since I'm a little obsessed with the fashion on that show, I was incredibly excited for this collection.
Today I'm featuring Blue Carnation, one of my few favorite pastels.
Not only is it a gorgeous eggshell blue, but it matches my favorite tea mug. I am not even ashamed to admit I was wearing this polish when I saw the mug and bought it just because they matched.
LOL. Wearing those nails, I would have bought the mug, too! LOL.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I just learned about Nailtini the other day while reading the latest issue of Nailed It. If you've not subscribed or picked up a copy, you really must, Ketlyn. FABULOUS publication, right up our collective lacquerholic alley.
Loverly job, my pretty! :)
A couple of years ago I bought a pair of (quite expensive) shoes because they matched with the nail polish I was wearing, so I understand you! (luckily those shoes have a great quality, they are really comfortable even if they have high wheels, so I'm very happy with the purchase! :D )
ReplyDeleteThere is absolutely nothing odd or wrong about buying something because it matches your polish! Of course, non polish folks might think we are a little nuts, lol!
ReplyDeleteI usually buy polish cuz it matches something I'm wearing (or because it's a day that ends with "y"), but I can't say I've done the reverse yet. No judgement here though, goodness knows I'm an impulse buy queen! Beautiful polish!
ReplyDelete:D it looks lovely on you
ReplyDeleteI love that kind of colours, they work so well as bases for stamping or any kind of nail art. I thought Nailtini's all had cocktails names? I probably just don't know this one!
ReplyDeleteYep, nothing wrong with buying something that matches your manicure. Now the so called normal people might think otherwise but we are not asking them now are we ;D
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous color! I don't think I have anything quite like that in my stash.
Is there whiskey in that cup?!? This color is gorgeous, I've never hear of this brand, off to google them!!
ReplyDeleteReally nice soft grey!
ReplyDeletePretty, soft blue-grey. Had to laugh when you bought tea mug because it matched; so many would think that is crazy, but it is perfectly reasonable to me.
ReplyDeleteThis is super pretty, love the matching mug! :)
ReplyDeleteHhahahaha! Great match indeed ^^ It's lovely, and the name of the brand is quite fun :) Are the other polishes in this collection that nice?
ReplyDeleteWow this shade is really really gorgeous! And what a great match lol
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous shade! I have yet to try any Nailtini's this would be a great one to start with though!
